Job summary

Toyota Edgware is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy service department. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards, with access to ongoing Toyota training and a clear path for career progression.

Qualifications

• MOT licence preferred.
• Experience in a main dealer or independent with strong diagnostic software skills.
• Strong understanding of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair processes.
• High levels of efficiency with a results-driven approach.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Proactive, positive attitude with teamwork and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and record findings accurately.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and resolve advisory issues.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity targets are met consistently.
• Work closely with service advisors to provide accurate repair times and updates.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Deliver excellent workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + uncapped bonus (estimated at £20,000) + Guaranteed Bonus while on Annual Leave and Training + £2,000 signing bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:00 – 13:00 (Paid overtime at 1.5 x hourly rate)
