Job summary

Steven Eagell Group is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Romford to perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota GB standards. You will diagnose faults, share knowledge with apprentices, and ensure high-quality workmanship while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician qualification and a full UK driving licence; MOT Tester qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Qualified as a Level 3 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Confident communicator with good customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Toyota GB standards.
• Inspect and diagnose faults, including non-routine issues, using up-to-date technologies.
• Identify and report defects per MOT and VSR requirements.
• Complete work within allocated time, maintaining productivity and quality.
• Support apprentices and participate in specialist training to maintain expertise.
