Job summary

NRL Group in Derbyshire is seeking CCTV Engineers to install, maintain and repair CCTV systems, intruder alarms and access control on client sites. The role covers mobile CCTV towers, solar upgrades and related security hardware with a focus on safety and standards.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with travel across Derbyshire and surrounding areas. A full UK driving license and CSCS card are required, IP CCTV experience preferred, and a proactive approach to liaising with site teams is

Qualifications

• Experience with security systems, CCTV and Access Control.
• Understanding of basic 12 VDC systems and batteries.
• CSCS card and willingness to travel around Derbyshire.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and install CCTV in accordance with relevant standards.
• Undertake refurbishment and upgrade works on mobile CCTV tower units, including solar panels, fault finding, repairs and testing.
• Work with site teams and travel around Derbyshire and surrounding areas; hours Mon-Fri 8-5.

NRL are currently looking for CCTV Engineers in Derby area

Purpose

Purpose of the role is to support the CCTV and security by installing maintaining temporary, rapid deployment, and fixed CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, door entry, and other high end security on client sites.

Accountabilities

Repair, maintain and install CCTV in accordance with the relevant standards and specific system specifications.

Undertake refurbishment, and upgrade works on a fleet of mobile CCTV tower units. The scope of works will primarily involve upgrades to solar panel systems, fault finding, repairs, testing and general refurbishment activities.

Approximately 90 units requiring attention at present across business.

Fire/Security/Electrical/Electronics

• Have experience with security systems, CCTV and Access Control
• Understanding of basic 12 vdc system
• Experience in batteries – changing/charging/Inspecting
• Ability to liaise with site teams
• Ideally IP CCTV experience
• FESS CSCS card holder or General CSCS card
• Understanding the basics of solar technology
• Good understanding of current standards
• Monday-Friday 8-5pm
• PAYE or UMB
• Fit for role medical is required
• Be able to work in and around Derbyshire and surrounding areas (approx 200 miles)
• Power Network Sites
• Full UK driving license
