Job summary

NRL Group in the Derby area is seeking CCTV Engineers to install, maintain and upgrade CCTV and security systems on client sites, including rapid deployment and mobile towers.

You will work Monday to Friday 8-5, with PAYE or UMB options, and must hold a full UK driving license; CSCS card is preferred; knowledge of solar technology and 12V DC systems is desirable, plus ability to liaise with site teams.

Qualifications

• Have experience with security systems, CCTV and Access Control
• Understanding of basic 12 VDC system
• Experience in batteries - changing/charging/Inspecting
• Ability to liaise with site teams
• Ideally IP CCTV experience
• FESS CSCS card holder or General CSCS card
• Understanding the basics of solar technology
• Good understanding of current standards
• Monday-Friday 8-5pm
• PAYE or UMB
• Fit for role medical is required
• Be able to work in and around Derbyshire and surrounding areas (approx 200 miles)
• Power Network Sites
• Full UK driving license

• Undertake refurbishment, and upgrade works on a fleet of mobile CCTV tower units. The scope of works will primarily involve upgrades to solar panel systems, fault finding, repairs, testing and general refurbishment activities.
• Approximately 90 units requiring attention at present across business.

Purpose of the role is to support the CCTV and security by installing maintaining temporary, rapid deployment, and fixed CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, door entry, and other high end security on client sites.

• Repair, maintain and install CCTV in accordance with the relevant standards and specific system specifications.
