Newman Personnel is recruiting a CCTV & Access Control Project Engineer for established security systems specialists. Based across North/East London and surrounding areas, you will deliver professional CCTV and access-control installations from start to finish on commercial and residential sites.

You will liaise with Project Manager, clients and site teams, ensuring safety, compliance and quality while managing equipment and travel between sites.

Are you an experienced electronic security engineer looking for varied installation projects, long-term stability and genuine opportunities to progress?

Newman Personnel is recruiting a CCTV & Access Control Project Engineer for an established and growing security-systems specialist. This is a hands-on, field-based role delivering professional installations across commercial and residential construction sites throughout North/East London and the surrounding areas.

The role

You will take responsibility for delivering CCTV and Access Control installations professionally from start to finish, working closely with the Project Manager, clients and other site teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing integrated CCTV and Access Control systems
• Delivering work across multiple long-term installation projects
• Managing equipment and materials required on site
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager each day
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors and site teams
• Ensuring installations meet relevant British Standards and industry requirements
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, compliance and customer service
• Participating in the call-out rota when required

What we’re looking for

• Strong practical CCTV and Access Control experience - essential
• Experience working on construction sites
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards
• Confident communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass the required DBS and security-industry screening

Relevant NSi, LPCB or City & Guilds qualifications would be beneficial. Entrotec training or fire-alarm experience would also be advantageous but is not essential.

• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
