Perfect Placement UK Ltd is representing a family-run auto body repair centre in Tewkesbury seeking an experienced Vehicle Panel Beater / Paint Sprayer to join their skilled team. The role delivers high-quality repairs, customer satisfaction, and long-term career progression in a respected workshop.

Benefits include competitive hourly pay (£16–£20), 28 days leave incl. bank holidays, ongoing training, overtime, and standard hours (8:30am–5:00pm, Mon–Fri). A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Body Repair / Paint Refinishing (preferred).
• Alternative: 3–4 years hands-on experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater / Paint Sprayer.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair damaged or compromised bodywork panels.
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Assess vehicle damage to determine repair methods.
• Repair bumpers, doors, and other body components as required.
• Prepare vehicles for painting through filler, sanding, masking, and priming.
• Carry out vehicle paint spraying and refinishing to industry standards.
• Mix and apply paints using suitable equipment and systems.
• Ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Collaborate within a team to maintain a safe workshop.

• Alternatively, at least 3-4 years of relevant, hands-on experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater / Paint Sprayer
• Valid UK driving licence
