Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD in East Kilbride is seeking an experienced Stores Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for safe movement, storage and organisation of materials, plus loading/unloading, stock control and daily pallet movements, with a focus on health and safety. This is a permanent, full-time role with a Monday–Friday day shift and a salary up to £28,000.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certification.
• Previous warehouse, stores, or manufacturing experience.
• Good understanding of health & safety within a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving materials and stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Picking, packing, and organising stock accurately
• Carrying out routine forklift checks and reporting any faults or issues
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures and company guidelines
• Supporting general warehouse and stores duties as required

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment based in East Kilbride.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with previous warehouse and forklift experience who is looking to secure a permanent role with a well-established company.

The Role:

Working as part of the warehouse and stores team, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and organisation of materials and products while supporting the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
