Job summary

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our production team. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move stock, load and unload products, and support packing and warehouse tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a valid RTITB or ITSSAR forklift licence, flexibility to rotate between early and late shifts Monday to Friday, and prior warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Good health & safety awareness and practices.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Counterbalance Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative

About Us

We are a busy and growing manufacturing business, looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our production team.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods, as well as carrying out general warehouse duties to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck (valid licence required).
• Load and unload products from machinary.
• Move stock to designated storage locations.
• Assist with packing, and wrapping orders.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards.
• Support other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
• Able to work on a rotating shift pattern- earlies then lates-Monday to Friday
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Good attention to detail and time management skills.
