Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 nurse to lead the North Norfolk Macmillan centre at Cromer Hospital. The role covers outpatients, day surgery and the chemotherapy unit, with responsibilities including site leadership in the absence of Matron and support to the emergency response team.

The post requires forward thinking leadership in cancer services, multi-specialty clinical leadership, and direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Nurse with cancer experience and ability to lead a department.
• Chemo giving experience is desirable.
• Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC register.

We are looking for a Band 6 nurse to lead the North Norfolk Macmillan centre at Cromer Hospital. This centre covers outpatients, day surgery & the chemotherapy unit.

You will support the wider Band 6 team at Cromer & the Band 7 providing site leadership in the absence of Matron. Supporting the emergency response team for the site for unwell patients & cardiac arrests.

We are looking for a forward thinking Nurse with cancer experience who is able to lead the department along with expanding services for the future. As post-holder you will lead and work as part of your team, providing multi-specialty clinical leadership & management within the department. You will provide direct patient care acting as a resource and role model for the clinical team. Chemo giving experience is desirable
