Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking an experienced Oncology CNS to autonomously lead the Adjuvant and Neo-Adjuvant SACT service, guiding patients from MDT to discharge at the Colney Lane site.

You will run New Patient and Follow Up clinics, prescribing IV and oral SACT, and work as a key MDT member with surgical and oncology colleagues to shape patient management plans. Leadership, education and service development are central to the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Adjuvant and Neo-Adjuvant SACT service, managing a patient cohort from MDT to follow-up and discharge.
• Hold New Patient and Follow Up outpatient clinics, prescribing Intravenous and Oral SACT.
• Be a key member of the MDT, liaising with surgical and oncology consultants on patient management plans.
• Provide leadership to the Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist team with support from the Service Director and Matron; drive education, training and service improvement.

• Full time: 37.5 hours per week Interview date: to be confirmed As the post holder, you will provide leadership to the Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist team with support from the Oncology Service Director and Oncology Matron. Shared Decision Making, Education and training for CNS and Registrars, and Service Improvement are key to the leadership model.
