Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 nurse to lead the North Norfolk Macmillan centre at Cromer Hospital. The role covers outpatients, day surgery and the chemotherapy unit, with responsibilities including site leadership in the absence of Matron and support to the emergency response team.

The post requires forward thinking leadership in cancer services, multi-specialty clinical leadership, and direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Nurse with cancer experience and ability to lead a department.
• Chemo giving experience is desirable.
• Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC register.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North Norfolk Macmillan centre at Cromer Hospital.
• Support the Band 6 team and provide site leadership in the absence of Matron.
• Provide multi-specialty clinical leadership and direct patient care.
