Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to work at Sir William Stanier School, Crewe, CW1 4EB. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, with 38 teaching weeks per year.

You will assist with drinks, food service, and delivering excellent customer service to students. We offer training, career progression, and a supportive environment within a world-leading catering organisation.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 desirable; training provided.
• 1–2 years’ experience in food services or retail desirable.
• Team player and ability to work in a busy environment.

To assist in the day to day running of the unit – making drinks to order, serving food to order, and providing excellent customer service throughout.

What you’ll do:

• Basic food preparation if required including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
• Serving students, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking up and putting away deliveries
• Serving food and clearing tables/bins/trays
• General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

What we’re looking for:

• Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
• No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in a food services or retail environment desirable
• Work well as part of a team
