Aramark UK is hiring a Catering Assistant at Campsfield IRC, near Oxford. You will join a friendly team delivering high-quality food and customer service in a supportive environment. The role covers meal service, stock handling, and maintaining hygiene across front and back of house.

No prior experience is required, but 1-2 years in food services or retail is desirable; UK residency and right to work are required, along with DBS checks. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Food hygiene Level 2 desirable; training will be provided.

Job description

As a Catering Assistant for Aramark UK at Campsfield IRC, you'll be part of a friendly team delivering high-quality food and customer service within a professional and supportive environment. From assisting with meal service to maintaining excellent hygiene standards, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for residents, staff and visitors while developing your skills in a rewarding and varied role.

• Basic food preparation if required, including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
• Serving students, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking up and putting away deliveries.
• Serving food and clearing tables/bins/trays.
• General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
