Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College. You will serve food and beverages to customers to Aramark standards and maintain a clean, welcoming service area.

The role offers 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday, a permanent contract, term-time only 38 weeks, and benefits including free meals on shift, parking and PerkBox discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers to Aramark standards.
• Clean service areas and related equipment and furniture.
• Prepare service area and service points.
• Store food items and equipment after service.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations.
• Present an image conducive to good customer relations.
• Assist in promoting the company health and safety policy.

Job Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark.
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to companyregulations always.
• To always present an image conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply andassistin the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s equal opportunity policy.

Key Requirements:
