Job summary

Disability Positive in Crewe is seeking a part-time Carer / PA to support a lady at home with personal care and meals. The role requires experience with advanced dementia and a calm, caring approach. Training will be provided, and a DBS check is paid for by the employer.

DBS and permissions are handled by Disability Positive. The successful candidate will join a team and may work late afternoon hours, with flexibility to cover holidays and extra shifts as needed.

The role requires a person who has experience in supporting clients with advanced dementia who can deal with the challenges that can bring and provide reassurance and encouragement to our client

A female carer is needed due to the personal care needs of the client Permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010’

Full training will be provided.

A DBS will be paid for by the employer.

2 hours late afternoon are available for 1 carer to help the client prepare for bed.

Further hours are available

The availability to cover PA’s holidays would also be useful.

Hourly pay rate is £14.10 per hour.
