Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for an exceptional care home in Colchester, Essex. The role concentrates on dementia and mental health care, with an annex for younger people with dementia.

You will work 36 hours per week on day shifts, with a salary of £12.80–£13.45 per hour. Monthly pay, comprehensive induction and training, enhanced bank holiday rates, and recognition schemes are offered.

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Colchester, Essex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

The care home emphasises on Dementia and Mental health care, and also has skills to care for younger people with dementia in an annex adjacent to the main home

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

As the Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
