Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a committed Support Worker for a care home in Thetford, Norfolk. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality residential and nursing care for older people, including dementia care. Training and induction are provided, with enhanced rates for bank holidays and ongoing career development.

The role is full-time, 36 hours per week on a mix of shifts. A genuine desire to care for others, good teamwork, and strong communication are essential.

About the role

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Thetford, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a purpose built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care

Key Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

Key Duties

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities

Preferred skills and experience

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

Salary and Benefits

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
