Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting for a Secondary Maths Teacher in Colchester and the North Essex/South Suffolk border. The role supports Key Stages 3 and 4 with options for long-term cover, flexible assignments, or a pathway to a permanent contract.

You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons, differentiate for ability levels, monitor progress, and prepare students for GCSE examinations in an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics with a proven track record of student progress.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.
