EQUANS is recruiting a Maintenance Craftsperson for our Barnet Hospital site. This full-time, permanent role includes a 24-hour on-call rota, offering a competitive salary and benefits within a healthcare facilities team.

The post involves planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical plant and building services on site in Barnet. You will work safely with colleagues and external contractors, supporting junior team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, testing, repairs, refurbishment and minor new works.
• Work safely with colleagues, contractors and other trades while supporting junior team members.

Who are you?

• Experienced in maintaining mechanical and electrical plant, equipment and building services
• Skilled in planned maintenance, reactive repairs and breakdown response
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, gas, steam, medical gas and plant room systems
• Able to complete PAT and support statutory testing in line with BS 7671
• Practical and confident using tools and equipment for repairs and minor fabrication
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Safety conscious, reliable and willing to complete required training
• Able to support the training and supervision of junior colleagues
• Willing to participate in the on call rota and occasional overtime
• Able to drive a company van when required
