Pay Rate: £35.15 per hour PAYE, with flexible holiday pay
Hours: 22.7 hours per week (this can be worked flexibility across Monday-Friday)
Length of Contract:3 months
Location: Cheshire West and Chester
Hybrid Arrangements: Fully agile role, primarily home-based with occasional travel to offices, properties and stakeholder meetings across the area.
Access to a vehicle / driving license is required for site inspections. You must be available to travel to Cheshire West and the office as required.
Part TimeSenior Property Management Surveyor
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Property Management Surveyor to take a lead role in managing a diverse property portfolio, ensuring assets are effectively managed, occupied, maintained and performing well.
You’ll lead on estate and asset management, including rent reviews, lease renewals, lettings, consents, valuations, acquisitions and disposals. You’ll also handle landlord and tenant matters, wayleaves, access licences, encroachments, boundary issues and service charges.
Working closely with Facilities Management and external consultants, you’ll oversee maintenance, repairs, health and safety, EPC requirements and occupational liabilities, while reviewing asset performance and identifying opportunities for improvement and investment.
You’ll also provide professional advice on property matters, interpret complex title and lease documentation, support valuations and asset registers, and contribute to property-related decision making.
Degree-level qualification, preferably property related.
RICS qualified or equivalent.
Extensive property management experience, ideally within the public sector.
Strong knowledge of RICS guidance, relevant legislation, statutory frameworks and best practice.
Experience of financial reporting and property valuations.
Strong understanding of leases, occupational agreements and property documentation.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong IT skills, including Word and Excel, with the ability to use property databases and GIS systems.
Highly organised, proactive and able to manage a demanding workload.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable: Registered Valuer experience.
