Job summary

UKCIL is seeking a Care Assistant to support a 38-year-old living with MND in Cheltenham. This flexible part-time role requires compassionate, proactive assistance with daily living activities, medical-related tasks, and companionship.

Driving license and car ownership preferred for transport and flexible hours are offered. Care tasks include meal prep, personal care, and safe administration of medications, plus mobility support and PEG/rig care where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with RIG/PEG feeding and care.
• Experience with NIV.
• Experience with showering and toileting assistance.
• Experience with moving and handling.
• Ability to help with dressing.
• Experience with suction and cough assist.

Care Assistant for a 38 year old with MND @ £20/hr in Cheltenham

Flexible Part Time Role Available

Looking for the right person to join my care team. I am living with MND which means I have a range of needs, but essentially someone who can be my arms and legs!

Experience necessary with:

• RIG/PEG feeding and care.
• Experience with NIV.
• Showering and Toileting.
• Moving and Handling.
• Getting me dressed.
• Suction and Cough Assist

I am looking for someone who is easy company, proactive and compassionate. I like to spend my time watching films, sports and series. I enjoy playing Chess. I have friends over regularly and if I am up for it I will get out and about.

I have a young family so keeping life as normal as possible is the most important thing to me, so discretion and trust is also essential.
