Job summary

Chandlers Ford Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant. You will help deliver high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen and work closely with the Chef to ensure meals are prepared efficiently.

You will assist with prep, keep the kitchen clean, and help with deliveries and stock organisation within a supportive team. This role offers a stable routine and opportunities to develop in a well-organised kitchen environment.

Job description

Chandlers Ford Care Home is a 41 bed, purpose built care home in the village of Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, on the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a welcoming and close knit environment with bright, stylish living spaces, an enclosed garden and comfortable shared areas. Colleagues are part of a supportive team that works together to provide high quality, person centred care and ensure Residents feel valued and supported.

• £13.45 to £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
