Job summary

Chandlers Ford Care Home in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, is looking for a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, wellbeing, and comfort. The role covers days and nights on a full-time contract, with contracted hours of 33 per week and a focus on dignity and independence.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, mobility and nutrition, and work within a supportive team while accessing training and development opportunities offered by Care Concern Group.

About Chandlers Ford Care Home

Chandlers Ford Care Home is a 41 bed, purpose built care home in the village of Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, on the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a welcoming and close knit environment with bright, stylish living spaces, an enclosed garden and comfortable shared areas. Colleagues are part of a supportive team that works together to provide high quality, person centred care and ensure Residents feel valued and supported.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 to £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
