Job summary

Chandlers Ford Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. This hands-on role helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard, with strong teamwork and attention to detail.

You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, help with deliveries, storage and stock organisation, and work closely with the Chef and wider team to keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

  Chandlers Ford Care Home is a 41 bed, purpose built care home in the village of Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, on the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park.   £13.45 to £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
