Serco Limited in Wales is seeking a Business Development Manager to build and grow employer partnerships across the region. You will turn business needs into learner opportunities and ensure the right candidates are matched to roles, working with internal teams to deliver high-quality employment outcomes.

You should have proven sales, business development and employer engagement experience, plus NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent). Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a minimum of 10 key employer accounts within a specified sector, acting as the main point of contact and building trusted relationships.
  • Promote Serco’s full employment, skills and training offer to grow existing accounts and position Serco as the partner of choice for new accounts, including pre- and post-employment support.
  • Work closely with Resourcers to communicate employer expectations for effective screening and placements.
  • Track and report on key metrics including placements, satisfaction, sustainability and repeat usage.
  • Use data insights to improve account management, employer engagement and service quality.
