Job summary

Serco Limited in Wales is seeking a Business Development Manager to build and grow partnerships with employers, turning business needs into job opportunities for participants. You'll manage key employer accounts, promote Serco's employment and training offer, and work with Resourcers to accelerate placements while reporting on performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a minimum of 10 key employer accounts.
• Promote Serco's full employment, skills and training offer to grow existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Resourcers to screen candidates and place learners quickly.
• Track placements, satisfaction, sustainability and repeat usage; report to Strategic Account Manager.
• Use data insights to drive account management and service quality improvements.

• Manage and develop a minimum of 10 key employer accounts within a specified sector, acting as the main point of contact and building trusted relationships
• Promote Serco's full employment,skillsand training offer togrowexisting accountsandposition Serco as the partner of choicefornew accounts, includingpre- and post-employment support
• Work closely withResourcers, clearly communicating employer expectations to support effective screening and placements, ensuring roles are filled with suitable learners at pace
• Track and report on key metrics including placements, satisfaction, sustainability and repeat usage, providing updates to the Strategic Account Manager and stakeholders
• Use data insights to improve account management, employerengagementand service quality, sharing recommendations with the Strategic Account Manager.

• Proven experience in sales, business development,recruitmentor employer engagement, ideally in ahigh-volumeenvironment
• Qualified to NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• A sound understanding of the skills and employability sector, including current trends,challengesand opportunities
• Strong communication,negotiationand presentation skills with the ability toengage and influencea diverse range of stakeholders
• Adata drivenmindset with strongproblem solvingand analytical skills
• Experience developing strategies and translating them into actionable plans
• Strongorganisationandtime management,and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

This role requiresBPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. AnOccupational Health Questionnairewill also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
