Serco is seeking a Progression Job Coach to support participants on the Restart Scheme. You will manage a caseload, deliver coaching and tailored action plans, and provide practical help like CVs, applications, and interview prep.
You will partner with employers and internal teams to place participants into roles and keep compliant records. The role requires passion for helping people, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Salary: £30,000 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

As a Progression Job Coach in our Employment, Skills and Enterprise team, you'll support people on the Restart Scheme to overcome barriers to employment, build confidence, and move into sustainable work. Your work has purpose, helping individuals achieve positive outcomes while creating a positive impact on communities.
Every day, you'll work closely with participants to understand their goals, identify support needs, and create personalised action plans. Through coaching, guidance, and practical employability support, you'll help people develop the skills, confidence, and motivation needed to secure long-term employment. Our work touches lives, and you'll play a key role in helping people build a brighter future while strengthening trust and opportunity within local communities.
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help ensure the right support is in place for you to succeed in the role.
