Job summary

Veolia in Pontypridd, Cardiff region, is seeking an experienced Industrial Services operative. You will perform confined space works, tank cleaning and high/low pressure jetting on towable rigs and standalone units, traveling to sites across the South Wales region.

Role involves working away from home, with regular overtime, nights and weekends; full driving licence and Class 2 license with Driver CPC required. Veolia offers training, pension, health support and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an Industrial Services role.
• Confined space experience.
• High pressure water jetting certification.
• Full driving licence held with CPC & Digi / Tachograph card.
• Experience with vacuum tankers.

• Operate high airflow machine and vacuum tanker.
• Drive to collection locations and disposal points.

Job description

Hours:

40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday - 7am - 3:30pm + Overtime

Location:

Pontypridd, Cardiff CF15 7QT - travelling to sites around the South Wales Region

Working away from home, sometimes for extensive periods on a national basis.

• Regular overtime, weekends and nights as required.
• Additional hours worked during the week or Saturdays will be paid at time and a half
• Sundays and bank holidays will be double time.
• Hourly uplift when working away from home, including paid accommodation plus meal allowance.

Veolia's industrial division combines a range of industrial services to provide appropriate solutions such as chemical cleaning, tank cleaning, materials handling, water jetting and environmental response.

What you'll be doing;

• Confined Space works and tank cleaning
• Ultra High Pressure / High Pressure & Low Pressure Jetting activities on various sized equipment for towable rigs to High Pressure stand alone units
• Operating a high airflow machine, vacuum tanker, Hiflo disab
• Driving to collection locations and disposal points where required
• Working away from home when required

What we’re looking for;

• Previous experience within a similar Industrial Services roles
• Confined space experience
• High Pressure water jetting certification
• Full driving licence
• Class 2 (Category C) License and Driver CPC & Digi / Tachograph card
• Experience with vacuum tankers
