Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Housing Compliance Manager to oversee landlord health & safety, building compliance and risk management across a large property portfolio.

You will lead a team of 7–8 professionals, develop safety strategies, manage audits and contractor performance, and monitor KPI reporting with a £2m budget. Hybrid working with travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing landlord health & safety and property compliance within a similar organisation.
• Strong housing compliance experience covering at least two of: asbestos, fire safety and legionella.
• Proven team leadership and people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building safety legislation, regulatory requirements and risk management.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: £300.00 to £500.00 per day PAYE, with flexible holiday pay

Hours: 37 hours per week

Length of Contract: 6 months

Location: Cowley Road Hub, CambridgeCB4 0DN

Working Arrangements: Hybrid (office days/remote days not confirmed) – travel between sites will be required

Essential Experience & Skills

• 3+ years’ experience managing landlord health & safety and property compliance within a similar organisation.
• Strong housing compliance experience covering at least two of: asbestos, fire safety and legionella.
• Proven team leadership and people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building safety legislation, regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, procurement and contracts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Meticulous, organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent professional qualification in Building Surveying, with relevant construction industry experience.
• NEBOSH or recognised landlord/property compliance qualification.
• GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths.
• Level 4+ Fire Safety / Fire Risk Assessment qualification.

Additional requirements:

Enhanced DBS clearance, full UK driving licence with business-use insurance, ability to travel between sites, and availability for rotational emergency call-outs.
