Job summary

The Oyster Partnership is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead statutory and regulatory compliance across a diverse property portfolio. This hybrid role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure all statutory obligations are met and governance, reporting and assurance processes are robust.

As the subject matter expert for property compliance, you will cover fire safety, asbestos, electrical safety, gas safety, water hygiene, lifts and wider building safety

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in property compliance, facilities management or building safety.
• Strong knowledge of fire, asbestos, gas, electrical and water hygiene compliance.
• Experience managing compliance contractors and service providers.
• Ability to interpret legislation and implement practical compliance solutions.
• IOSH, NEBOSH or relevant professional qualifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead property compliance programmes across a varied estate.
• Manage statutory inspections, audits, testing and remedial works.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
• Develop and improve compliance reporting systems and processes.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and audit readiness.
• Provide advice and assurance to senior management on compliance risks.
• Lead and develop a small compliance team.

Compliance Manager

Day Rate: £450 - £500 per day (Umbrella)

Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Manager to lead statutory and regulatory compliance across a diverse property portfolio.

You will act as the subject matter expert for property compliance, ensuring all statutory obligations are met while maintaining robust governance, reporting and assurance processes. The role covers key compliance disciplines including fire safety, asbestos, electrical safety, gas safety, water hygiene, lifts and wider building safety compliance.
