Job summary

Tudor Employment Agency Ltd in Burton-upon-Trent is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee a children's residential home. You will lead a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring safe, nurturing, high-quality care in line with Ofsted and Children's Home Regulations.

You will manage handovers, supervision, care planning, safeguarding and daily operations, while building strong relationships with young people, families and professionals.

• Lead, motivate and supervise staff on shift
• Conduct handovers, supervisions and support staff development
• Support care planning, risk assessments and key working sessions
• Promote safeguarding and maintain accurate records
• Assist with rotas, medication administration and health & safety
• Build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals
• Support admissions, referrals and transitions into the home
• Use therapeutic approaches and de-escalation techniques to manage behaviours positively
