Burnley Borough Council’s Building Control Service is seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor to lead a defined area within Burnley and Padiham. You will handle projects across class 2a-2f and dangerous buildings under sections 77 and 78 of the Building Act, and you will contribute to enforcement activities.
You should be able to supervise our Trainee RBI in coordination with other Senior Surveyors and the Class 3G-H Registered Building Inspector.
An opportunity has arisen to join Burnley Council’s Building Control Service as a Senior Building Control Surveyor. You will be expected to be capable of dealing with the full range of projects within class 2a-2f, dangerous buildings under section 77, 78 of the Building Act and associated enforcement activities. You should also be willing and able to assist with the training and supervision of our Trainee RBI in conjunction with our other Senior Surveyor and the Class 3G-H Registered Building Inspector.
