Job summary

David Bailey Furniture Systems Ltd is seeking a Factory Operative to join our busy furniture manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role within our production facility, supporting the manufacture and preparation of high-quality fitted furniture.

You will work as part of a friendly team and will be involved in a variety of tasks across the factory, helping us maintain high standards of quality, efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous furniture manufacturing experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the manufacture and assembly of furniture components.
• Operate basic machinery and hand tools safely.
• Measure, cut, assemble and prepare materials as required.
• Assist with finishing tasks.
• Check finished components for quality and accuracy.
• Follow production drawings and schedules.
• Prepare materials and components for the next stage of production.
• Keep the workshop and production areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Support other members of the production team when required.
