Job summary

East Coast Fittings Ltd. in Leicestershire is looking for a Furniture Production Operative to join our busy production team. You will play a hands-on role in manufacturing our furniture ranges and helping maintain high standards for our customers.

You will be trained on-site and will work to scheduled production and delivery dates while developing skills in woodworking CNC, cabinet/door assembly, and related processes.

Qualifications

• Hard worker with a good demeanour and practical approach.
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to production needs.
• Reliable, conscientious and able to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking CNC machines to support production.
• Carry out cabinet assembly and door assembly tasks.
• Read job sheets and follow specifications precisely.
• Perform glass cutting and product picking as required.
• Ensure products meet the expected high standard.
• Work to scheduled production and delivery dates.

The Role

• Full time position working within our busy production department.
• Undertaking one or more tasks, including operating woodworking CNC machines, cabinet assembly, door assembly, glass cutting and product picking.
• Reading job sheets to carry out the required work.
• Ensuring the products are manufactured to the expected high standard.
• Working to scheduled production dates and delivery dates.
• The successful candidate will be provided with necessary training.
