Job summary

Cornthwaite Group is seeking a hands-on Yard Operative to help maintain our machinery, vehicles, and depots in excellent condition. You will work closely with sales and service teams to present equipment professionally and support day-to-day operations.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, reliable and enjoy working outdoors. Experience with tractors, yard tasks, and basic maintenance is a plus. Salary and benefits are subject to experience and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and detailing agricultural and industrial machines to a high standard.
• Preparing machines and company vehicles for demonstrations or hire, including cleaning and fluid checks.
• Loading and unloading of machinery safely and general yard duties.
• Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing machinery.
• Delivery and collection of customer and new machines.
• Ensuring the yard areas are clean, tidy and well organised.
• Assist with additional tasks to support smooth operations.
