Job summary

CDI - Russell Taylor is seeking Class 2 HGV drivers for an ongoing store delivery contract based in Widnes. You will deliver goods to stores across the UK, with a 4-on/3-off pattern and guaranteed hours. No tramping involved; drivers return home after shifts.

Role requires a valid Class 2 licence and a minimum of 6 months' experience, with good knowledge of UK roads and a professional, punctual attitude. Day and night shifts available with the same rate and overtime after 48 hours.

• Pay: £16.63 per hour (£18.63 including holiday pay)
• Overtime: Time and a half for hours worked over 48 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: 4 on / 3 off

The Role

We are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers for an ongoing store delivery contract based in Widnes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent hours and a 4-on/3-off shift pattern.

You will be responsible for delivering goods to stores across the UK. No tramping is involved, and drivers will return home after their shifts.

Shift Details

• Day shifts: Start times between 12am and 6am
• Night shifts: Start times between 2pm and 8pm
• Shift length: Up to 12 hours
• Guaranteed minimum: 48 hours per week
• Shift pattern: 4 days on / 3 days off
• Weekends: Included
• Night rate: Same pay as day shifts
• Overtime: Time and a half after 48 hours
• No tramping
