Job summary

First Choice Staff is urgently seeking a qualified Warehouse Counterbalance FLT Operator to start ASAP on an ongoing basis in Birmingham. The role runs Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 12:00 Midnight with a salary of £15.95 per hour plus Holiday Pay.

You will handle international import/export freight, load/unload trailers, perform handballing, and verify freight docs while maintaining safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Good level of literacy and English language skills.
• Experience as a warehouse operator or counterbalance forklift operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers and move freight around the warehouse.
• Handballing and stacking cargo within the yard and storage areas.
• Check freight documentation and labels for inbound/outbound consignments.
• Operate forklift safely to handle international import/export freight.
• Maintain general warehouse duties and cleanliness.

We have an urgent requirement for a WAREHOUSE COUNTERBALANCE FLT OPERATOR to start ASAP and on a to work on an ongoing basis.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 4.00pm – 12.00 Midnight and offering a salary of £15.95 per hours + Holiday Pay

Based in Birmingham, (B37) this position is working for a prestigious company in International Freight and joining an experienced Warehouse team.

Handling international Import and Export Freight consignments, loading and unloading trailers, handballing and moving freight around the warehouse, loading and unloading shipping containers. Also checking Freight documentation and labels, for freight arriving at the warehouse before unloading as well as all other general warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will need to complete Airfreight security qualifications/certificates which will be fully funded and pass a 5 year checkable history and criminal record check.

The role requires an experienced, confident and competent FLT Warehouse Operator, who has a good level of literacy and English language skills.

Candidates are required to have valid FLT Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR),
