Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department covering the Birmingham area. You will travel to customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts, with occasional overnight stays.

The role requires diagnosing faults, hands-on troubleshooting, and performing safety checks in the field. We offer full training, a company van, and paid travel time from leaving home until returning home.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults and performing hands-on troubleshooting and repairs in the field.
• Meet targets and deadlines professionally and promptly.
• Provide high levels of customer service and communicate feedback to management.
• Perform product updates and safety checks in a safe manner.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department covering the Birmingham area.

*** MUST BE BASED IN THE B POSTCODE AREA ***

The role consists of:

• Travelling on a daily basis to our customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts.
• May include multiple overnight stays per week.
• Diagnosing, and providing hands on troubleshooting, service, and repairs to existing Stairlifts within the field
• Meeting all target and deadlines in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide high levels of customer service - ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions, with the assistance of management.
• Carrying out the product update and safety checks in a safe manner
• To communicate effectively with external customers, and provide customer feedback.
