Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, shaving, teeth cleaning and dressing.
• Support with catheter care, PEG feeding and medication administration.
• Assist with domestic duties and keeping the home safe.
• Attend medical appointments and social events with the client.
• Support transfers using a hoist and assist with mobility needs.

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:

My client is a 36-year-old male living in the WV14 area of Bilston.

My client has Multiple Sclerosis and spends most of his time in bed or in his wheelchair. My client is a very jolly and chatty person and likes talking with his Personal Assistants during the calls, He also like to go to the Cinema, Football matches and playing on his PS4.

My client always requires 2 Personal Assistants due to all transfers being made using a hoist.

Personal care: Support with bathing, showering, shaving, teeth cleaning, dressing, catheter care, PEG feeding, administering medication.

Domestic duties: Ensuring the home environment is kept clean and tidy and free from any slip, trip & fall hazards.
