Sodexo is looking for a reliable and conscientious
Cleaning Operative to join our team at a busy school environment.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school, helping to provide a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Carry out daily cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, communal areas, washrooms and other school facilities
Follow agreed cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard
Safely use cleaning equipment and products in line with procedures
Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the school
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required
Report any maintenance issues, hazards or concerns promptly
Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH and school-specific procedures
Work as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
A reliable, professional and responsible approach to work
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to following Health & Safety and cleaning procedures
Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries within a school environment
