Help Create Calm, Routine and Confidence – Personal Assistant - 3 HRS P/W £14.67 PER/H

£14.67 per hour | 3 hours per week | Flexible evenings and weekends

Are you patient, understanding and someone who enjoys helping others thrive in their everyday life? An autistic adult is looking for a supportive and reliable Personal Assistant to provide a few hours of practical support each week. This is not a hands‑on care role, it's about helping someone stay organised, reduce overwhelm and build sustainable routines that support independence and wellbeing.

  • Planning and organising the week ahead
  • Creating and maintaining routines
  • Batch cooking and meal preparation
  • Encouraging regular meals and healthy habits
  • Household administration and organisation
  • Keeping on top of washing and laundry
  • Preventing burnout through structured support and planning
About the Role

The successful PA will provide gentle encouragement and practical support with tasks such as:

  • Planning and organising the week ahead
  • Creating and maintaining routines
  • Batch cooking and meal preparation
  • Encouraging regular meals and healthy habits
  • Household administration and organisation
  • Keeping on top of washing and laundry
  • Preventing burnout through structured support and planning

The role is flexible and can be worked during evenings and/or weekends to suit both parties.

Who We're Looking For

You will be:

  • Reliable, patient and non-judgemental
  • Organised and able to help create practical routines
  • Understanding of the challenges that can come with autism and executive functioning difficulties
  • A good listener with a calm and encouraging approach
  • Comfortable around dogs (there are two friendly dogs in the home)

Experience supporting autistic people or having knowledge of neurodiversity would be highly advantageous, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

  • Hours: 3 hours per week
  • Rate of Pay: £14.67 per hour
  • Driver with own vehicle preferred, but not essential as public transport can be used
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred
