Job summary

UKCIL in Clevedon is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a gentleman with Autism on a part-time basis. You will help with social and daily living tasks, accompany him to activities, and ensure his comfort during emotional moments.

The role requires a full UK driving license and access to your own car, with availability on Tuesdays and monthly autism-group sessions. Respect, patience and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

Experience supporting adults with Autism is beneficial.
Ability to engage in social/leisure activities with individuals.

Responsibilities

Accompany to choir on Tuesday evenings in Central Bristol.
Support to make tea and take notes during choir sessions.
Provide emotional/mental support during panic attacks when needed.

Personal Assistant for gentleman with Autism in Clevedon, 3 hours per week.

Support to take this gentleman to choir on a Tuesday evening in Central Bristol. Support him to make a cup of tea and take notes during the choir if relevant. This gentleman can have panic attacks so emotional/mental support might be needed.

Support to take this gentleman to an Autism group once a month.

Hourly rate

£17.15 for self-employed PA's.

Availability

Every Tuesday and once a month for the Autism group.
