If you can provide calm, compassionate and highly organised support for a service where professionalism, accuracy and care really matter, we may have the perfect role for you … We are looking for a Part Time Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team at Mintlyn Crematorium, helping to ensure bereaved families, funeral directors and visitors receive a sensitive, efficient and supportive service at an important time.
In this varied and trusted role, you will book cremations, check and process statutory paperwork, update records, prepare routine correspondence, manage post, scan and file documents, take payments and respond to enquiries by phone, email and in person. You will also support memorial enquiries and sales, helping families understand the options available and ensuring records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
We are looking for someone who combines strong administrative skills with warmth, tact and resilience. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and database systems, able to work accurately to deadlines, and comfortable dealing with a busy and varied workload. You will understand the need to communicate clearly and sensitively with bereaved families and visitors, knowing when to provide information and when to refer more complex matters to senior colleagues.
