Job summary

The Best Connection Employment Group is seeking Van Courier Drivers for a major client in Basildon, operating within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector. The role involves 65–100 multi-drop deliveries daily, loading and unloading with the warehouse team, and strict safety adherence.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime; hours are 08:45–18:15 or 07:30–17:30. Pay is £14.25 per hour (PAYE), with overtime £21.38 after 45 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid van Cat B manual driving licence.
• Minimum of 2 years driving/work history.

Responsibilities

• Completing 65 to 100 multi-drop parcel deliveries per day in and around Essex & Suffolk.
• Performing daily vehicle inspections (pre- and post-operation).
• Following designated delivery routes and instructions accurately.
• Loading and unloading parcels with the warehouse team.

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.

Our client is a global leader in the

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry and is looking to expand their team of

Van Courier Drivers based in Basildon.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Optional Saturdays on overtime if needed)

Shift Times: 08:45-18:15 or 07:30-17:30

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour (PAYE)

Overtime Rate: £21.38 per hour after 45 hrs.

Location: Basildon

Duration: Temp to Perm

Responsibilities of a CAT B Courier Driver in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector:

• Completing 65 to 100 multi-drop parcel deliveries per day in and around Essex & Suffolk

• Following designated delivery routes and instructions accurately
• Loading and unloading parcels with the warehouse team
• Ensuring all safety protocols and company policies are followed

Requirements:

• Valid (Van Cat B) manual driving licence
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• 5 years of reference-able work history
• Clear DBS or overseas criminal record check (if applicable)
• Be willing to provide a 5-year HMRC letter (we will show you how!)
