Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Van Driver – Southampton to join our busy client. This full-time, ongoing role offers regular hours, an immediate start and a steady workload in the Southampton area.

You will deliver parcels to customers, run 65–100 deliveries per day, and perform vehicle checks while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.

Responsibilities

• Delivering parcels to customers across Southampton and surrounding areas.
• Carrying out 65–100 deliveries per day.

• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
• Following delivery routes and schedules.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Van Driver - Southampton, your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering parcels to customers across Southampton and surrounding areas
• Completing approximately 65-100 deliveries per day
• Loading and unloading your van
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after your shift
• Following delivery routes and schedules
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

What We're Looking For

You will need:

• A valid Category B (car/van) driving licence
• A manual driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A reliable and positive attitude
• The ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule

Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience is an advantage, but full support will be provided.
