Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting for a Cat B Driver in Bristol. The role involves safe operation of 3.5t vans on planned routes, with frequent mail and parcel deliveries to customers and businesses.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, log deliveries, and maintain accurate records. Candidates should have a valid Cat B licence, up to 6 penalty points, and at least 1 year of van driving experience in logistics or distribution.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year van driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers.
• The collections & delivery of mail & parcels efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
