Job description

36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:15pm, term time only

You will be managing a well-established nursery rated Good by Ofsted, providing care and early education for children aged 2–5 years in a welcoming community setting. The nursery has up to 45 places, with children learning together in one large room and benefiting from a spacious outdoor area. The setting has a strong community focus, with an emphasis on supporting children and families and working closely with other professionals. As Nursery Manager, you will spend three days working alongside the children and two days focused on management and administration, giving you a balanced role across practice and leadership.

What You’ll Need

Full and relevant

Previous experience as a

Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or highly confident Room Leader

Strong working knowledge of the EYFS and early years practice

Clear understanding of safeguarding and nursery compliance requirements

Strong communication skills when working with children, families, colleagues and other professionals
