Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC is seeking an Innkeeper's Collection Night Porter in Arundel for an overnight role (11pm–7am). You will be the first point of contact for late arrivals, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while upholding guest safety and security.

DBS check is part of the recruitment process. Responsibilities include assisting with front of house tasks, including cleaning areas and breakfast setup, and handling guest enquiries to ensure a positive stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.


• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.


• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include:
  
  
  
  • cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas
  
  
  • setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
  
  
  
  


• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.


• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly.


• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
