Job summary

Arcinova in the United Kingdom is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join the Maintenance Team. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose issues, and monitor plant performance across HVAC and electrical systems.

The role involves working on steam distribution, PAT testing, and occasional out-of-hours callouts, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified maintainer with relevant apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and risk assessments.
• Willingness to perform out-of-hours callouts when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance per programme.
• Identify and execute corrective and reactive maintenance.
• Operate BMS to monitor plant performance.
• Undertake system shutdowns and isolations safely.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Work with due regard to health and safety.
• Monitor and supervise contractor personnel.
• Maintain HVAC, piping and electrical services.
• Work on Steam Generation and Distribution; training provided.
• Carry out portable appliance testing (PAT).
• Participate in out-of-hours callout rota.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Maintenance Team who are responsible for maintaining site utilities, plant equipment, and building infrastructure.

The key tasks of the position are:

Perform planned preventative maintenance in accordance with the scheduled programme

Identify and perform any corrective and reactive maintenance, ensuring plant and equipment operates to its optimum

Operate the BMS control system to assess and interrogate plant and equipment performance.

Perform system shutdowns and isolations in accordance with a safe system of work

Ensure work is conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies/procedures and client requirements where appropriate

Work with due regard to health & safety of self & others

Monitor and supervise contractor personnel

Work flexibly across the site to meet business needs

Carry out general maintenance on HVAC, piped services and electrical systems

Work on Steam Generation and Distribution Systems. (Training provided where required)

Portable appliance testing of electrical equipment

Participate in the out of hours callout rota.
