Job summary

JLL is seeking a proactive Multiskilled Engineer for our high-profile site in Shoreditch. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The successful candidate will contribute to energy efficiency initiatives and work with site management to minimise disruption while adhering to safety standards on a Monday–Friday schedule, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
• Experience in multiskilled maintenance in fast-paced or critical environments
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain records using CAFM system.
• Liaise with site management and contractors to minimise disruption.
• Participate in site audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives on site.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join our team at a high-profile sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of building services, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and contributing to the smooth operation of the facility, the week will be shared a crossed 2 sites

Location: Based at Shoreditch

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 would be part also of an on-Call Rota

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Integral and Amazon’s safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using the site’s CAFM system.
• Liaise with site management and contractors to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Participate in site audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives on site.

Skills & Experience

• Recognised qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar multiskilled maintenance role, ideally within a fast-paced or critical environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
